KAREN M. MITCHELL
| Karen Mitchell is a senior litigator at Bellmore & Moore with 20 years of practice in complex commercial litigation, emphasizing securities law, business and employment disputes, and professional discipline proceedings. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants at the Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada, and both appellants and respondents before the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, Ms. Mitchell is experienced in litigating complex cases involving a broad range of business and commercial disputes, including shareholder actions, oppression remedy proceedings, wrongful dismissal, breach of trust and libel actions, and claims in professional negligence and fiduciary duty. In addition, Ms. Mitchell has acted as counsel before administrative tribunals including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO), the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB), the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), and the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (IDA), and has extensive arbitration and mediation experience.
